March 1 – 6, 2022:  Circus Sarasota Ladies & Gentleman, Boys & Girls its Circus Season! Enjoy live performances under the Big Top. March 3 – 5, 2022: 29th Annual Pinecraft Days Arts & Crafts Festival More than 40 exhibitors from around the Sun Coast area come together to showcase their handmade arts and crafts, from wood bowls to wind chimes, art, jewelry, candles, soaps, and more. Free admission. 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Beneva Marketplace, 1231 S Beneva Road, Sarasota, FL.

March 4, 2022: Music on Main Enjoy a night on the town in Lakewood Ranch with live music, adult beverages and food vendors. There will also be a balloon twister, face painting, and more for the younger ones. Overflow parking is available at the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. Main Street in Lakewood Ranch, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

March 4, 2022: Fresh Fridays Downtown Sarasota! This tropical-themed block party features free live entertainment, signature party favors, free light bites, beverages, dancing, and more! Main Street between Palm Ave and Pineapple Ave, downtown Sarasota, FL. 7 p.m.- 10 p.m.

March 5, 2022: Heritage Festival at Palmetto Historical Park & Manatee County Agricultural Museum. Join the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Manatee County Agricultural Museum, the 40th Anniversary of the Palmetto Historical Park and Palmetto Historical Commission, AND the 125th Anniversary of the City of Palmetto! This free event will feature a park open house, special anniversary exhibits, children’s activities, contests, recipes to collect, a trivia tour, and exhibits by a variety of local services. A special anniversary addition to this year’s festival is a Free Community Appreciation Lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to thank the community for all of their support over the years. March 5, 2022: Parrish Heritage Days Parade and Festival. The Parrish Heritage Festival will be held at the Parrish Community High School and will feature food trucks, vendors, entertainment, and activities for the kids. 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Free admission and parking. March 12 – 13, 2022: 2nd Annual Lakewood Ranch Winter Fine Art Festival You will find creations in painting, sculpting, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, mixed-media, woodworking and many more handmade works by artisans from across America. Free admission. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mainstreet, Lakewood Ranch, FL.

March 13, 2022:  Annual Anna Maria Island St Patrick’s Day Parade Kick off the St. Patty’s Day festivities early with a parade around the island featuring floats, high school bands, golf carts, dancers and pipers! 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. The route will begin in Holmes Beach at City Hall and continue down Marina Dr. to Palm Drive to Gulf Dr., and will end at The Anna Maria Island Community Center.

March 15, 2022:  Anna Maria Island Heritage Day Explore how the settlers lived with museum tours and settler era crafts and demonstrations; Bee Keeping, Candle Making, Soap Maker, Quilting, Broom Maker, Woodworking, Weaver and more! March 17, 2022: Clancy’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Bash Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with traditional Irish style food like corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, hot dogs and hamburgers and green beer. March 18 – 26, 2022:  86th Annual Sarasota County Fair Don’t miss the Midway rides, delicious fair food, and exhibits at the Sarasota County Fair! Located at Sarasota Fairgrounds, at 3000 Ringling Boulevard, Sarasota, FL.

March 19-20, 26-27, 2022: Spring Indie Markets at UTC Shop over 70+ crafters, small business owners, and artists. From bath products, and crystals to plants and produce there is sure to be something for everyone. Grab a quick bite at the featured food trucks and entertainment. March 18, 2022: Music in The Park Enjoy live musical performance by Derek Lersch, craft beer, wine, food, and a great atmosphere at the Music in Park series. Blankets or chairs are highly encouraged, furry friends on leashes are welcome to join in on the fun. This family friendly event is free to attend. Beverages and food are available for purchase. March 26, 2022: My Hometown Fest Southwest Florida’s biggest and best neighborhood block party, featuring food, music, and craft beers from hometowns across the USA. My Hometown Fest draws thousands of people from Florida’s Suncoast for a day of fun featuring food from dozens of area restaurants, craft beer samples from around the country, and live music from the region’s best bands. The event features plenty of family friendly activities as well.
