February 4 – 6,2022 : Myakka River Rendezvous Come learn about yarn spinning, blacksmithing, candle making, and much more. Travel back in time with vendors of unique wares, live music, animals, shows, and great food. This event is suitable for all ages. February 5, 2022 : 11th Annual Superhero 1mi/5K This event features both a 1 Mile Fun Run and a 5K. The race is held to show support children who come from hard places in our community. February 4, 2022 : Circus Night First Friday Be entertained by circus acts like fire eaters, hula hoop artist, and stilt walkers,  while shopping trendy fashion boutiques, art galleries, or just walking around. Enjoy wine tastings and carriage rides. Admission is free. From 5:00pm- 8:00pm. Main Street, Lemon Ave and Palm Ave.

February 5, 2022 : Hawkins Road Festival 2022 Fun for the whole family. Enjoy rock climbing, food trucks, vendors, and over 20 inflatables. 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Admission is free. 8000 Hawkins Road Sarasota, FL 34241.

February 6, 2022: Ski-A-Rees Water Ski Show Enjoy Sarasota’s own special water ski show! The show includes jumps, ramps, costumes, pyramids, doubles, trios, and more! Free Admission. Show starts at 2pm. 1602 Ken Thompson Parkway Sarasota, FL 34236

February 10 – 21, 2022 : Florida State Fair You won’t want to miss this years, Florida State Fair, with endless entertainment, fried food galore, the largest ride midway in the U.S.A, cracker country, exhibits, and more! Tickets range from $6.00 – $10.00 with armbands available at an additional cost. Held at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, 4800 US Hwy. 301 North, Tampa FL 33610.

February 12, 2022: Bradenton Area River Regatta Known as Manatee County’s Largest Spectator Event, the Bradenton Area River Regatta features a day of high-speed watersports, powerboat racing, live music, food festival, family fun zones, daredevil shows, choreographed firework show and more. Watch the boat races from either the Bradenton or Palmetto River fronts or on the bridge itself. Free admission. 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. Downtown Bradenton’s Riverwalk and in Palmetto, FL

February 18-20, 2022 : 24th Annual Thunder By The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival Enjoy this three day event benefiting the Suncoast Charities for Children. With continuous live music performances on Saturday February 19th. Come join the “Born to be Wild” kickoff party, the “United we Ride” charity motorcycle ride, 17 Classic Bike shows, burnout contest, great food, and much more! February 19 – 20, 2022: 40th Annual Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival Celebrates the rich heritage of the area’s commercial fishing industry with two days of marine life exhibits, family fun zone, live music, nautical arts and crafts, and delicious seafood. Held in the historic fishing village of Cortez, Florida, the festival starts at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday. 4425 119th St. West, Cortez, Florida. Admission is $5, children under 12 are free. Offsite parking is available at G.T. Bray Park with shuttles to Cortez for $3 round trip.

February 26-27, 2022 : Sarasota Winter Craft Show Come and enjoy a diverse selection of handmade original art pieces from all different disciplines. From painting, sculpture, and wood working, to photography, glass, wearable art and much more. Admission is free. 10am – 5pm both Saturday and Sunday.
